DraftKings Sportsbook was founded back in 2012 and has since grown to become one of the country’s most prominent betting sites. With major sponsorship deals from leagues such as Major League Baseball, the company began as a leading provider of fantasy sports. 

The brand is still recognized for having one of the top fantasy sports offers. Currently, DraftKings has grown to become one of the largest providers of sports betting services in the U.S.

The company officially launched its sports betting operations in the U.S. back in July 2018. With diverse offered sports, betting markets, and access to fantasy sports, the company quickly gained recognition as a top gaming provider. DraftKings Sportsbook also pursued strategic partnerships with Diamond Eagle Acquisition Corp and SBTech Global Ltd in 2020.

The sports betting market is still quite new in the U.S. Still, DraftKings, along with a handful of providers, has quickly risen to dominate the industry in the U.S. Expectations are for the company to keep pushing for expansion in the next few years.
